Formed in 1844, Maidstone Swimming Club is recognised as England's oldest competitive swimming organisation. Based in the heart of Kent at the County town's own leisure centre, not only do we boast an enviable record of swimming and diving achievements, but also an eye for future success.  We recognise our rich historical base - whilst aiming to nuture and develop tomorrow's swimming sensations.

 

We're fully affiliated to the ASA as well as holders of Swim 21 accreditation. We commit to providing a safe, effective quality service to every member, allowing them to reach their potential. Come join us today !

Results are now available here for the 4th Time Trials of the year held on 19th July 2019.

The Next internal Galas are the Club champs which start in September.

Maidstone 175th Anniversary Level 3 Open Meet 2019

To celebrate our 175th anniversary, Maidstone Swimming Club will be hosting a Level 3 Open Meet (3SE192403) to be held

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November 2019
Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7RN

The programme of events includes 50m, 100m and 200m in all strokes, 200m IM, 400m IM and 400m Freestyle.

The entry file and information pack are available and entries are now open. The official closing date for entries will be midnight on 25 October 2019.

Diving National Finals Results Update

The weekend saw three of the Maidstone Diving Team compete at the Plymouth Life Centre against the rest of England.
Results were:
Karis Gous 11yrs age group scored 268.65 and came 17th out of 29.
Sam Harvey 13yrs age group scored 277.55 and came 7th out of 16.
Hannah Cleary 15yrs age group scored 304.10 and came 7th out of 28.

Diving National Finals

The diving team have 3 divers qualified for the National Skills Finals taking place at Plymouth Life Centre on 6 - 7 July 2019.
Divers are:
Karis Gous 11 yrs
Sam Harvey 13 yrs
Hannah Cleary 14 - 16 yrs
We wish them the best of luck for the weekend.

Nicole Attends Southeast Region Open Water Training Camp

Well done to Nicole Quiller for being selected for the South East Region Open Water Development Camp, Nicole qualified for this camp with her 1500m freestyle swim at Kent County Championships.

 

The camp held today started with a Pre pool Land training session then a 90 minute pool session to learn all the open water skills.  After lunch a tough session in the lake putting all the skills into practice.

Maidstone Swimmers Head To Nationals

Congratulations to three of our swimmers who have qualified for the British and Swim England Nationals this year.

 

Matt Burrows has qualified for three swims at the British Championships in Glasgow 50m, 100m,  and 200m Breastroke.Well done Matt outstanding achievment!!

Qualifying in the Swim England National Summer Meet for 200m Backstoke are Lauren Braddon and Nicole Quiller, Nicole has qualified as a 12 year old in the 12/13 age group, an amazing achievement. Well done all of you, all your hard work has paid off.
