Welcome to Maidstone Swimming Club

Formed in 1844, Maidstone Swimming Club is recognised as England's oldest competitive swimming organisation. Based in the heart of Kent at the County town's own leisure centre, not only do we boast an enviable record of swimming and diving achievements, but also an eye for future success.  We recognise our rich historical base - whilst aiming to nuture and develop tomorrow's swimming sensations.

We're fully affiliated to the ASA as well as holders of Swim 21 accreditation. We commit to providing a safe, effective quality service to every member, allowing them to reach their potential. Come join us today !

  • Alternative Swimming Caps

We are thinking of getting hold of some different styles of swimming cap to allow Maidstone swimmers to wear a more high performance cap at galas whilst still displaying the club logo.

We need to get an idea of how many people would be interested in which type of cap as we need to meet minimum order quantities.  We can put an order in as soon as we get enough interest for either or both types of cap.

George Gomersall has samples of each type of cap so please ask to try them on before deciding.

Please let us know how many of each type of cap you are interested in by completing our survey here.

Introducing your Team Captains
Written by Administrator
Monday, 09 March 2015 18:59

2015-team-captainsMaidstone Swimming Club has two Team Captains; Lucy Booth and George Gomersall. They both swim in elite squad and so can often be found at the pool!

They have a huge amount of experience and knowledge, both about swimming and MSC. You may be attending your first gala and be unsure about what will happen or what you need to take, or you may just want to chat to someone about training. You might also have a really great idea about something that could be done at the club. Let Lucy or George know and they will do all they can to help, or pass any ideas on to the committee.
