Formed in 1844, Maidstone Swimming Club is recognised as England's oldest competitive swimming organisation. Based in the heart of Kent at the County town's own leisure centre, not only do we boast an enviable record of swimming and diving achievements, but also an eye for future success.  We recognise our rich historical base - whilst aiming to nuture and develop tomorrow's swimming sensations.

 

We're fully affiliated to the ASA as well as holders of Swim 21 accreditation. We commit to providing a safe, effective quality service to every member, allowing them to reach their potential. Come join us today ! 

 


2019 Club Champs 50/100m Backstroke Results

Results are now available here for Session 2 on 6 September 2019.

A guide to the disqualification codes used can be found here.

Please note that the results may contain time-only swimmers and should not be used for any Club Championships placing.

Finalists, along with reserves, will be posted following the last 50/100m session on Tuesday 17 September.

The Breaststroke 50/100m events take place on Tuesday 10 September 2019. Please ensure that you are signed in by 6.50pm at the latest. Registration will commence at 6.30pm and swimmers arriving after 7.00pm will not be accepted for entries.

National Summer Meet Ponds Forge- Results

Congratulations to Lauren Braddon and Nicole Quiller who both swam 200m Backstroke today at Ponds Forge Sheffield.

Lauren came 11th overall in the 17/over age group swimming a time of 2.27.47, Nicole came 16th in the 12/13 age group swimming 2.32.55, the 2nd fastest 12 year old overall.

Well done girlsSmile.

Swim England National Summer Meet Results

Lauren Braddon swam in the 100m Butterfly today at Ponds Forge in Sheffield, Lauren came 12th overall in a time of 1.05.64 narrowly missing a place in the final.

Maidstone have two more swims on Sunday at nationals Lauren again with 200m Backstroke and Nicole Quiller also swimming in the same event. Good luck girls.

 
Fantastic finish to British Summer Championships

Congratulations to Matt on a fantastic finish to his week in Glasgow, competing in the final earlier this evening of the 200m Breaststroke.

Matt improved on his heat time from this morning and finished in 8th position with a new PB of 2:33.69. A tremendous achievement and we are all very proud of you.

Matt qualifies for the 13/14 years 200m Breaststroke final this evening in 7th place in a time of 2:34.42.

Day Two At British Championships

Matt Burrows competed in the 50m Breastsroke earlier today, Matt came a very good 14th fingertips away from his 2nd final of the week.

Matt came 10th last night in the 100m Breaststoke final, swimming a fantastic Pb in the session earlier.
